The PO 4x24-1 is a classic Soviet-design scope made famous on the SVD Dragunov sniper rifle. Fielded around the world, it has proven to be extremely rugged and reliable though decades of harsh use. A true military design, it features a highly versatile fixed 4x magnification and a wide 6 degree field of view. Rifleman will appreciate the easy to use reticle which features mil marks for lead/windage corrections and range-finding, bullet drop compensation marks, and no-math telemetric range finder. The illuminated reticle is powered by a common AA battery. Elevation and windage adjustments are made by finger adjustable turrets which feature precise audible and tactile clicks. Easily removable snap-on covers protect the turrets from accidental rotation. These are retained by lanyard so you don’t have to worry about losing them.
The PO 4x24-1 features a proven optical system with a 24mm objective lens. This provides a large 6mm Exit Pupil. Optical performance is excellent with a bright image, accurate color rendition and sharp resolution. Low light performance is also very good. A novel integral sliding sunshade can be pulled out when required and slid back for storage. Plus a removable rubber eye-cup serves to ensure the shooter’s head position is the same for each shot. The PO 4x24-1 also features an integral quick-detach system. This allows the optic to be quickly mounted/dismounted with the flip of a lever without losing zero. The PO 4x24-1 is designed to mount on SVD/Tigr, PSL, and M76 rifles.
